Frances O. Modlin, 91 years of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at her residence.
She was born August 31, 1922 in Granger County, TN., the daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle Jane Myers Bray. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Modlin; one son Charles Ray Modlin; one granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Modlin-Weaver; five brothers Lewis Bray, J.D. Bray, Charles Hubert Bray, Fred Bray, Marshall Bray; three sisters Gladys Buchanan, Katherine Hayes, Ethel Atkins.
Frances is survived by one son James Edward Modlin, Sr. of Hillsboro; two grandchildren James Edward Modlin, Jr. of Hillsboro, Kristina Faith Jonathan Rinal of Middletown, OH.; seven great grandchildren Bailey Lucarello, Brooklyn Lucarello, Mason Rinal, Lillian Modlin, Trinity Weaver, Alex Weaver, Jon Weaver; one brother Elmer Bray of Dayton, OH.; two sisters Geraldine Nichols of Ellcott, MD, Charlene Buttery of Pontiac, IL.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Pastor Harold Keaton will officiate with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
