Frances R. Morris, 97 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, July 9, 2001 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born in Coitsville, Ohio on September 16, 1903 the daughter of the late David and Martha Thompson Lewis.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Freewill Baptist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Morris, Sr., who passed away June 11, 1971, son, Virgil Morris, four brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, John, Jr. and E. Rosetta Morris of Hillsboro, Franklin D. and Dorothy Morris of Lutz, Florida, Freddie and Kathryn Morris of Hillsboro, Richard Morris of Bainbridge, five daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Lawrence Creamer of Hillsboro, Louise and Leo Davis of Hillsboro, Frances and Gene Davis of Port William, Charlotte Holt of Hillsboro, Marie and Tom Tucker of Hillsboro, daughter-in-law, Susan Morris of Ocala, Florida, sister, Florence Yeazell of St. Petersburg, Florida, thirty-two grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Keith Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Rhoads Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Hillsboro Freewill Baptist Church, 6360 U.S. Route 50, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
