Frances Aileen Quallen

Frances Aileen Quallen, 89 years of Hillsboro formerly of Williamsburg, died Tuesday March 2, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.

Aileen was born February 14, 1921 in Clermont County, the daughter of the late Elmer and Lena Hamilton White. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father Mark Atchley, two brothers and sister-in-law, George H. and Arlene J. White and Raymond K. White.

Aileen was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and the Miller�s Beauty College in Cincinnati. She owned and operated Aileen�s Beauty Salon in Williamsburg for many years. Aileen had a love for horses. For many years she bred, raised and trained race horses. She was a member of the Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro Women Club, 70 year life member and Past Worthy Matron of the Linden Chapter #348 OES.

On December 17, 1955 she was united in marriage to Joseph L. Quallen who survives. She is also survived by son George G. Quallen of Hillsboro, daughter and son-in-law Melonie L. and Raymond Keith Hardin of Williamsburg, four grandchildren, Ashley Hardin, Maria Hardin, Mark Hardin and James Hardin, two great grandchildren, Haylee and Kylie Hardin, sister-in-law, Ruth H. White of Hillsboro, two nieces, Mary Lou Carter and Nancy Travis, two nephews, James White and David White.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Greenberry Memorial Masonic Temple formerly Greenberry Methodist Church5 miles North of Williamsburg at 4869 St. Rt. 133.

Rev. Maurice Mitchell will officiate with burial to follow in the Greenberry Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro and from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday at the Greenberry Memorial Masonic Temple. Aileen will lie in state Monday from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Temple. Eastern Star Services will be held Sunday at 8:00 P.M.
