Frank L. Brinegar, 78 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, October 21, 2002 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Prince-wick, West Virginia on November 2, 1923 the son of the late James C. and Ada Farley Brinegar.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Marie Brinegar, who passed away on June 7, 1980.
He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Bob Taylor of Geneva, Illinois, Virginia and Larry Jacobs of Dekalb, Illinois, Vicki and Bill Cochran of Chicago, Illinois, one brother, Robert Brinegar of Beckley, West Virginia, three sisters, Helen Whitt of Beckley, West Virginia, Mondala Saul of Beckley, West Virginia, Yvonne Beasecker of Florida, seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Tom Zile officiating. Burial will follow in the Carmel Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
