Frankie Swayne, 74 years of Locust Grove Community, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on July 20, 1934 the son of the late Howard Eugene Swayne.
He is survived by his mother Audrey Hoop Swayne of Peebles, wife Kay Young Swayne of Peebles Locust Grove Community, four sons and daughters-in-law; Frank "Porky" and Janet Swayne of Peebles, Donnie and Sherry Swayne of Peebles, Terry and Sandra Swayne of Peebles, and Steve and Denise Swayne of Leesburg, one daughter and son-in-law; Becky and Chris Johnson of Peebles, two stepsons; Mike and Misty Tolle of West Union and Johnny Tolle of Peebles, one sister; Cricket Chapman of Cincinnati, special friends Donna and Tim Williamson, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, and twelve step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with a military graveside service by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
