Fred Tracy, age 77 of Peebles, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on May 27, 1937 the son of the late Lawrence and Georgia Peterson Tracy.
Fred attended Peebles Church of Christ; he was also a US Navy veteran of Post Korean Conflict, a member of Peebles VFW, and Adams County Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his wife, Clarine Stone Tracy of Peebles whom he married on October 22, 1961; four daughters and sons-in-laws, Kim and Harold Collins of Richmond, Kentucky, Lorna and Scott Sutherland of Lebanon, Ohio, Carla and Jerry Nesbitt of Lynchburg, and Socheata and Peter Hing of Springfield, MA; one sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Gary Stonerock of Chillicothe; 9 grandchildren, Samual, Johnson, Rick, Christopher, William, Donavon, Tommy, Veronica, and Breanna; and 4 great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Callie, Tucker, and Colt.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ with Robert Warren, Bill Christman, and Patrick Klump officiating with military rites given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday from 4:00 till 6:00 P.M. at the church.
Memorials may be made to Peebles Church of Christ Christian Mission Fellowship Fund.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
