Fred L. Williamson, 60 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Highland District Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1946 in Highland County, Ohio, the son of the late Verlin ?Jim? and Melva Willison Williamson.
For the past 7 ½ years, Fred has been employed by the City of Hillsboro. Fred was a well known auto mechanic having owned and operated the Hi-Co Garage in Hillsboro for 14 years, was a mechanic for Hillsboro Ford and Hank and Bill?s Automotive. He was a member of the F.O.E. Aerie #1161.
On June 11, 1966 he was united in marriage to Anne Bumgarner Williamson who survives. He is also survived by a son and fiancée Kenneth and Tracy Williamson of Hillsboro; three brothers, Stan ?Buck? Williamson of Peebles, Larry Williamson of New Vienna, Bob Williamson of Miamisburg; one sister, Karen Hargett of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
