Freda L. Creed, 81 years of Leesburg, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born in Highland County on April 3, 1929 the daughter of William and Fern Chaney Igo. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Edward Creed on January 28, 1989, two brothers, Harold and Lloyd Igo.
She was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ.
She is survived by on Son, Don Creed of Leesburg, three daughters, Donna Miller of Sabina, Connie Mike Boggs of Ringgold, GA, Carolyn Creed of Leesburg, six grandchildren, Chris & Tony Miller, David & Jennifer Boggs, John & Paul Throckmorton, one brother, Hugh Igo of FL, two sisters, Donna Huff of Leesburg, Mary Kelley of Leesburg, seven great grandchilder and two step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Church of Christ with Russell Leib officiating. Burial will follow in the Hightop Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
