Freddie Merrick

Freddie A. Merrick, Sr., 76 years of Peebles, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022.

Freddie was born November 28, 1945 in Columbus, OH., the son of the late Robert V. and Mildred M. (Puckett) Merrick. Beside his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by one son, Donald D. Merrick and one sister.

Freddie served his Country in the U.S. Navy.

Freddie is survived by three sons, Louis (Jenna) Merrick of Lockbourne, OH., Freddie A. Merrick, Jr. of Peebles, Chance Merritt of Peebles,; one daughter, Sherry Lyn Merrick of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, John Harter of Orient, OH.; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard will be held at 4:00 P.M.. Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring. A Celebration of Life will follow Military Rites. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 3:00 P.M.. until 4:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
