Garnet L. Nichols, 92 years of Portsmouth, died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Lawshe, Ohio.
She was born on November 10, 1913 in Portsmouth, Ohio the daughter of the late James and Minnie M. Cowdery Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas H. Nichols in 1992 and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Aunt Garnet loved her cats so much that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the Sierra?s Haven Animal Shelter, 80 Easter Drive, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Locust
Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home of Peebles.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 Noon till time of service at the Funeral Home.
