Garry Wayne Barr

Garry Wayne Barr passed away in Pricetown after a long illness on June 11, 2005. He was born August 29, 1954 the son of David Barr, Jr. and Mary Ruth Simmons Barr. He was baptized at the Pricetown Church of Christ.
Garry is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, David and Ethel Barr, maternal grandparents, Nobel and Ethel Simmons, one brother, David Randall Barr, one aunt, Irene Roush, and one uncle, Elwood Mock.
He is survived by his parents, David Barr, Jr. and Mary Ruth Barr of Pricetown, two sons, Jeromey Cheyenne Barr of Hillsboro, Kyle Barr of Greenfield, one daughter, Rachel Rick Hostetler of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Madison, Austin, and Mason. Also surviving, is two brothers, Larry Bobbie Barr of Pricetown, Darrell Barr of Pricetown, one sister, Candy Doug Fox of Pricetown, two aunts, Von Charles Miller of Hillsboro, Erma Mock of Wilmington, one uncle, Robert Roush of Pricetown, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Garry was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. He was a graduate of Lynchburg High School in 1972. Garry was also a longtime employee of Cincinnati Milacron. He will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Pastor Angle officiating. Burial will follow in the Ruble Cemetery in Pricetown.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5378-A Cox Smith Road, Mason, OH 45040.
