Gary Lee Huff, 68, of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4th, 2021.
He was born January 10th, 1953 in Hindman, Kentucky the son of Phyllis (Barker) Huff and the late Carl Huff, Jr. before moving to Ohio as a young child with his family.
In addition to his wife Pamela and children Jennifer (Brian) Smyers of Lebanon, Jessica (Andrew) Saltzman of Lebanon, Zachary Huff of Dayton, Gary leaves behind his mother Phylis Huff, Hillsboro, brother Michael Huff, Hillsboro, and sister Carla (George) Kelley, Stevinson, CA, stepson Robbie Merkle of Dayton, 7 grandchildren Alyssa, Brendan, Ayden, Blake, Madelyn, Xavier and Brielle and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary was a graduate of Fairborn Baker High School and retired from Wright-Patterson AFB after 39 years of service. Gary had a passion for fishing, hunting, Vegas and classic cars. Like his father, he also had a great love for animals and has rescued several over the years that were dear to his heart.
Celebration of Life will be 12:00pm Friday April 16th at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday April 16th, from 11:00am until time of services. Inurnment will follow immediately at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Highland County Humane Society or Ohio's Hospice of Warren and Butler County.
