Gary Lynn, 71 years, of Bainbridge, OH passed away on Monday March 5, 2018 at Heartland of Chillicothe.
He was born on January 31, 1947 in Dayton, OH, the son of the late William & Dorothy (Pyle) Lynn. Besides his parents Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Sam Lynn.
Gary graduated from Whiteoak High School and went on to graduate from Ohio University with a master's degree in English. He later taught English & Literature at Kent State University.
Gary is survived by his son, Joseph Lynn; daughters, Maggie Lynn and Kathryn Lynn; sisters Sandra Brooks of Missouri, Sharon Cost of Bainbridge, Janice Lynn of Hillsboro, and Nancy Rossa of Hillsboro, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
In accordance to his wishes Gary is to be cremated and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Thompson Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
The family asks that donations be made in Gary's honor to the Grace Bible Church, P.O. Box 55, Sinking Springs, OH 45172.
