Geneva Lorene Blair Barnett, 86, of Highland, Ohio died at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash in Cincinnati, Ohio, September 3, 2006.
She was born August 9, 1920 in Staunton, Ohio.
She leaves behind her children, Earl Lee Barnett of Highland, Edith Marie Roger Grimsley, Gary Wayne Diana Barnett and Carol Ann Dan Ridgeway, all of Leesburg. Eight grandchildren: Brad Theresa Grimsley, Scott Grimsley, Stephanie Brandon Haines, Tracy Mike Daniels, Greg Misty Bobb, Danica Michael Bailey, Beecher and Brandon Barnett. 16 great grandchildren, one brother Clarence Janice Blair of Miamisburg, one sister, Shirley Glen Ray of Xenia, one brother-in-law, Ben Barnett of Clay City Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Cassie Barnett, parents, Grace Edith Powell Blair, Harley Jerome Blair and one sister, Sylvia Blair Trimble.
Geneva was a charter member of the Leesburg Church of Christ, former employee of the Leesburg Wilknit Co. and the Buckeye Moulding Plastics Co. of New Vienna. Most of all she lived her life in Christ, following His example s a Christian.
Funeral services will be held at Thompson Funeral Home on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with John Gillum and John Fitzgerald officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dunkard
Ridge Cemetery.
