Geneva Mildred "Dee Dee" Slusher, 60 years, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on August 14, 1947 the daughter of Emery B. "Slim" and Mildred Pollard Purdom.
She was preceded in death by her father, Emery B. "Slim" Purdom, and one daughter, Tina Marie Shiveley.
She is survived by her mother, Mildred Purdom of Hillsboro, one daughter, Heather Shiveley of Springfield, Ohio, four brothers, Kenny Purdom of Hillsboro, Jerry Purdom of New Vienna, Ronnie Purdom of Leesburg, Daryl Purdom of Hillsboro, five sisters, Debbie Sellman, Margie Lind, Judy Thery, Sandy Waddell, Peggy Waddell, all of Hillsboro, and one granddaughter, Summer Rayne Wallen.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Dr. Dan Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
