Geneva Stanley

Geneva F. "Dolly" Stanley, 77 years of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019.
Dolly was born March 27, 1941 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Everett and Elizabeth (Gallaher) Tucker, Sr. Beside her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by one sister, Kathryn Hilterbran.
Dolly was a 1959 graduate of Greenfield McClain High School, member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ and retired from the Hobart Corporation after 32 years of service.
On March 6, 1966 Dolly was united in marriage to Howard L. Stanley who survives. Beside Howard, Dolly is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Andrea Stanley of Hillsboro; grandson, Mason Stanley; two brothers, Everett (Juanita) Tucker, Jr. of Hillsboro, Wayne (Bessie) Tucker of Greenfield; three sisters, Juanita Hilterbran of Mt. Sterling, OH., Bernice Epling of Greenfield, Henrietta Holbert of Beaver Creek, OH.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Family suggests memorials to the Highland County Humane Society or Hospice of Hope.
