Genevie Van Dyke, 84 years of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Christ Hospital.
She was born in Piketon, Ohio on November 2, 1926 the daughter of the late Gilla and Ocie Smith Duke.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robie Perdue, who passed away on December 27, 1995.
She is survived by her husband Joe Van Dyke of Peebles, one son and daughter-in-law; Leon and Nancy Perdue of Piketon, one daughter and son-in-law; Kathy and Tom Newman of Peebles, one sister; Beverly Ratliff of Piketon, four grandchildren; Shane, Chad, Natalie, and Tommy, five great grandchildren; Eric, Emily, Tanner, Reese, and Serena, and four step great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Locust Grove Cemetery with Phil Fulton officiating.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society 2808 Reading Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
