Genevieve Breakfield, 79 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, May 30, 2003 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born October 18 1923 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Alva and Mary Hoerst Rhoads.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John L. Breakfield on December 14, 1996 and one sister Helen Norman.
She was a member of the Rainsboro United Methodis Church, UMW United Methodist Women, SOGS Southern Ohio Genealogy Society, Highland County Historical Society and had compiled 12 books for the Genealogy Society and was a member of First Families of Highland County.
She is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Arthur Rhoads of California, Howard and Jane Rhoads of Dayton, Ohio, Robert and Sandy Rhaods of Dayton, Ohio, a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Harry Miller of Dayton, Ohio, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Joan Breakfield of Hillsboro, Jean Kelley of Dayton, Ohio and numeous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Janie Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the New Maple Grove Cemetery at Port Williams, Ohio.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
