George E. Crowe, 91 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
He was born at Otway, Ohio on January 9, 1916 the son of the late Sinon and Anna Yurnger Crowe. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Jane Crowe on July 5, 2005, two brothers, Austin and Philip Crowe.
He was a member of the St. Mary?s Catholic and had retired from the Goodyear Atomic Plant at Piketon, Ohio
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Allan & Joyce Crowe of Indianapolis, IN, three grandchildren, Jenna Brian Orme, of West Milton, OH, David Suzanne Crowe of Georgetown, KY, Jonathan Crowe of Indianapolis, IN., seven great grandchildren, Noah, Samuel and Ethan Orme, Andrew, Caitlyn, Caroline and Allison Crowe, one sister, Kathryn Walsh of Annapolis, Maryland.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Thompson Funeral Home with Father Mike Paraniuk and Pastor Brian Orme officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery
Friends may call on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. till time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church, 212 South High Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
