George Dennis Hood

George Dennis Hood, 68 of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday September 27, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on August 30, 1946 in Cincinnati, the son of the late George and Mary Hood.
George served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1964-1968, including serving in the Vietnam War. After serving his country he was employed as a truck driver for over thirty years and was a member of Teamsters, he also was an avid farmer and enjoyed ""working my land.""
He will be sadly missed by his wife Becci Hood, son Greg (Carmen) Hood of Cleveland, four daughters Tracy (Kevin) Scott of Milford, Lori (James) Nelson of Goshen, Denna (Andrew) Williamson of Monument, CO and Rebecca Kenney, one brother Tom Hood of Louisville, KY, two sisters Patty (Bob) Oaks of Milford and Cheryl (Jim) Newsome of Goshen; fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and eight nieces and nephews, nineteen great nieces and nephews, special nephew Tommy Hood and many special friends and loved ones.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday October 4, 2014. For location details please call the family.
