George L. Miller, 85 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at Anderson Mercy Hospital.
He was born in Michigan on October 30, 1919 the son of the late Loren and Ella Fay Miller.
He was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ, worked for the Civil Service and was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Charleen Monosmith Miller on November 21, 1996.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Kay and Gene McCrary of California, Janet and Phil Richardson of Peebles, one brother Jack Miller of Michigan, two sisters Ada Tate of Oklahoma, and Margaret Radermacher, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday August 12, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
