George Ralston, 91 years of Peebles, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on March 23, 1920 the son of the late John and Chloe Shoemaker Ralston.
George attended Frog Hollow Church; he was a U.S.
Army Veteran of World War II, and was a member of the D.A.V. and the N.R.A.
He is survived by his wife Flossie Barnes Ralston of Peebles, whom he married on May 28, 1946, two daughters and sons-in-law; Pat and Nelson Grogg of Peebles and Bertha and John Niswander of Peebles, three grandchildren; Pamela, Thomas, and Patricia, and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Frog Hollow Church with Tom Brown and Melvin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with a military graveside service given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at Frog Hollow Church.
