Gerald Eads, 64 years of Bainbridge, OH., died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at his residence.
He was born September 13, 1943 in Harlan, Kentucky, the son the late William I. and Mary E. Fowler Eads.
Gerald was an avid hunter and fisherman. He retired from Best Way Trucking.
On September 18, 1984, he was united in marriage to Thelma Abner Eads who survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Tammy Eads of Wickenburg, AZ., two sons, Gerald Eads, Jr. of Circleville, OH. and Clayton Eads of Cleveland, TN.; one step son and step daughter-in-law, Terry and Teresa Abner of East Bernstadt, KY.; one step daughter and step son-in-law, Michelle and Eddie Thomas of Hillsboro, OH.; five brothers, Robert Eads of Newtonsville, OH., Ray Eads of Erlanger, KY., Dennis Eads of Hillsboro, OH., Charles Eads of Amelia, OH., Bill Eads of Hillsboro, OH.; two sisters, Alice Smith of Smith, KY. and Loretta Nickley of Blanchester, OH.; six grandchildren, Marcus Eads of Circleville, OH., Jerry Eads of Phoenix, AZ., Kyle Spillman of Wickenburg, AZ., Brandy Lewis of Wickenburg, AZ., Katrina Spillman of Cleveland, TN., Carolyn Spillman of Cleveland, TN.; two step grandchildren, Zach Abner and Macy Abner both of East Bernstadt, KY.; special friends, Dave Brown, Dave and Dennis Johnson, Quinton, Nathan, Jonathan and J.J.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Mike Sandlin will officiate with burial to follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
