Gerald Keith Ryan

Gerald (Gary) Keith Ryan, 77 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Christ Hospital.
He was born in Sinking Spring on February 11, 1941, the son of the late Lester and Ocie (Spence) Ryan. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his son, Edward Ryan, brother Dick Ryan and sister, Mary Hooper.
Gary was a hard working husband & father. Gary worked 35 years for Hercules Trouser Company in Manchester, Ohio as a cutting room Forman.
When he retired he enjoyed spending time with Margaret, his children & grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his two daughters, Cindy (Joe) Shoemaker of Hillsboro and Teresa (Robert Conley) Rigdon of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Gary Wayne Rigdon of West Union, Darin R. (Kay) Shoemaker of Pataskala, Chasity Rigdon of Manchester, two great grandchildren, Alexandra M. Shoemaker and Brody Larason,
two sisters, Betty (Pete) Puckett of Peebles and Opal Stephens of Peebles, two sisters-in-law, Betty Ryan of Hillsboro and Dottie Foster of West Milton, ex-wife Margaret McCoy of Hillsboro, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio.
Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. until time of services on Sunday, December 30, 2018 the funeral home.
