Gerald D. Shupert

Gerald D. Shupert, 82 years of Seaman, died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center at Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born at Seaman, Ohio on February 18 1924 the son of the late John Henry and Ethie Florence Trefz Shupert.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter Sharon Kay Shupert three brothers, Harley, Luther, & Cecil Shupert and two infant brothers, two sisters, Edna Mryl Daum and Betty Shupert.
He was a member of the Seaman United Methodist Church, Charles H. Eyre American Legion Post #633 and a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in WWII.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Etta Rose Perlson Shupert of Seaman, three sons and daughters/law, Jim & Debbie Shupert of Seaman, Gary & Jane Shupert of Seaman, Roger & Julie Shupert of Seaman, one daughter and son/law, Diana & Barry Wolford of Springfield, two brothers John Anna Shupert of Seaman, Paul June Shupert of Scottsdale, Arizona, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at the Seaman United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Seaman United Methodist Church, 63 Broadway, Seaman, Ohio 45679.
