Geraldine Johnson, 84 years of Peebles, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on March 18, 1926 the daughter of the late John and Anna Lorenzo DeAtley.
Geraldine attended the Peebles Church of Christ.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Johnson, Sr. and one son; Jamie Johnson.
She is survived by one son; Harry Johnson, Jr. of Peebles, one son and daughter-in-law; John Wayne and Norma Johnson of Peebles, one daughter and son-in-law; Anna Ruth and Jim Springsteen of Peebles, one brother; John DeAtley of Bethel, four sisters; Christine Brewer of Peebles, Evelyn Shoemaker of Peebles, Judy Call of Manchester, and Susan Willoughby of Peebles, three grandchildren, and three step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
