Gilbert Eugene Saunders Jr., 47 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, April 24, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Georgetown, Oh on August 14, 1961 the son of Gilbert E. and Rosemary Carter Saunders Sr.
Mr. Saunder's was preceded in death by his Father, Gilbert Saunders Sr., Grandparents, Milburn and Bertha Saunders and Grandmother, Dessie Carter.
Mr. Saunders worked in construction and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his Step Father and Mother, Melvin & Rosemary Barnhart, two sons Aaron Reck and Joshua Reck, he is also survived by five sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Bobby Head of Ludwici, GA, Belinda Nash of Hortense, GA, Lisa and Alvin Estep of Germantown, KY., and Cathy Brown of Hillsboro, OH, Dreama and Jason Klaiber of Lineville, Iowa and Grandfather, Raymond Carter of Hillsboro, OH.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. John Maggard officiating.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family at the Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
