Gladys Marie Browne, 85 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born December 3, 1925 in Flint, MI., the daughter of the late George and Arlie Staggs Riddle. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Harold Baumgardner, Calvin Pence, Harold Browne, one daughter Joan Lewis, one sister Carol Sherman, one brother Harold Riddle.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law June and Glenn Stratton of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Don Marian Lewis of Lynchburg, Cheryl Storer of Hillsboro; eight great grandchildren, Larry Storer, Chad Storer, Amber Perry, Anthony Perry, Angela Perry, Adam Perry, Cody Stratton, Elizabeth Lee Littler; two great great grandchildren Isabella Storer and Kye Norman.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Friends may call Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the West Union IOOF Cemetery.
