Gladys M. Stamper, 88 years of Winchester, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011
She was born on March 9, 1923 at Portsmouth, OH the daughter of Wilburn C. and Ida CassidySparks. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Stamper who died in 1998, three brothers, Jessie, Frank, Donald Sparks, Delores Henthkorn, Zola Sparks.
She attended the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union and was a Hair Stylit.
She is survived by one son and daughter/law, James and Edna Ray Stamper of Hamilton, one daughter, Janet Jandee of Lebanon, one sister, Bertha Maynard of Portsmouth, four grandchildren, twelve grat grandchildren, several nieces, nephwes, cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. Dan Harrison and Rev. Raymond Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 PM till time of service at 3:00 PM at the Church
Memorials may be made to the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union, Villa Georgetown Nursing home or Crossroads Hospice.
