Glendon F. Nichols

Glendon F. Nichols, 90 years of Peebles, died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at his residence.
He was born in Vinton County, Ohio on October 22, 1911 the son of the late Charles and Jenny Remy Nichols.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Butts Nichols, who passed away in March 1978.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Thatcher of Peebles, Glenda and Frick Johnson of Berea, Kentucky, Jean and Virgil Bradley of Urbana, Ohio, brother, Willard Nichols of Peebles, sister, Beatrice Pevler of Cincinnati, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Bill Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 415 ½ Home Street, Greenfield, OH 45121.
