Goldie C. Workman, 94 years of Peebles Locust Grove Community,
died Friday, August 12, 2005.
She was born in Clay County West Virginia on January 8, 1911 the daughter of Walter and Eliza Lyons Booth
She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ed Workman on March 21, 1976 one daughter Lula Davis, one son-in-law, Dana Grabill and two grandchildren.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Dollie Workman of Peebles, two daughters and son-in-law, Ann Grabill of Peebles, Lola and Carl Young of Peebles, one son-in-law, Charlie Davis of Lynchburg, one sister Tillie Hueghy of Huntington, West Virginia, nineteen grandchildren, forty one great grandchildren and nineteen great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union with John Euton Jr. and Dave Hopkins co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
