Gordon Bruce Arnott

Gordon Bruce Arnott, 80 years of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at The Chapel Grove Inn in Heath, Ohio.
He was born January 14, 1933 at Greenfield, Ohio, the son of the late Homer Bruce and Edna Marie Karnes Arnott. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Eleanor Harris Arnott on October 30, 2011; three brothers, Lawrence Eugene Arnott, Scott Arnott and Frank Arnott .
Gordon was a graduate of the 1951 class at Greenfield McClain High School, member of the Fall Creek Friends Church and a lifelong farmer.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Doug Denton of Baltimore, OH.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Jean Arnott of Powell, OH., Gerald and Janice Arnott of Granville, OH.; eight grandchildren, Brianne Dan Gladieux, Kendra Denton, Matthew Arnott, Beth A.J. McCampbell, Ashley Rory Barroquillo, Jared Elisha Arnott, Tyler Arnott, Rachel Arnott; two great grandchildren, Ashton Barroquilla, Elanor Belle Gladieux; two sisters and brother-in-law, Patty and Danny Hoop of Sinking Spring, Jane Smith of Greenfield.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will following in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home Funeral Home.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at The Chapel Grove Inn and Hospice of Central Ohio for their loving care of Gordon.
