Gordon Jamison, 57 years of Piketon, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born in Pike County, Ohio on February 21, 1953 the son of the late Glen Jamison.
Gordon attended Union Hill Church and played in various blue grass bands.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy Brown Jamison of Piketon, one daughter; Jessica Jamison of Dayton, five brothers; Robert of Milwaukee, Pete of Grove City, Ohio, Glen, Jr. of Columbus, Ralph of Bainbridge, and John Jamison of Peebles, seven sisters; Marguerite Nolte of Grove City, Ohio, Brenda Antle of Plano, Texas, Carlean French of Grove City, Ohio, Christina Jamison of Columbus, Carolyn Cox of Waverly, Anita McCleese of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and Lisa Litteral of Waverly, and one grandson; Darian Jamison.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Union Hill Church with Darby Beekman and Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
