Grace M. McConnaughey, 90 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, May 3, 2001 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.
She was born in Greenup, Kentucky on January 19, 1911 the daughter of the late Daniel and Dollie Jane Gibson Bowling.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of God.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe McConnaughey in 1964, five brothers, and three sisters.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carl Edward and Ann Worthington of South Shore, Kentucky, two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Bob Howe of Frankfort, Ohio, Pearl and Don Fisher of Middletown, Ohio, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and sister Pearl Smith of Wellston, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Maggard officiating. Burial will follow in the Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio.
Friends may call on Saturday from 3:00 till 5:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
