Grace Napier

January 14, 1903 — September 3, 2003

Grace Napier, 100 years old of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at the Carlton Manor in Washington Court House.

She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on January 14, 1903 the daughter of the late Nelson and Viola Ball Edwards.

She was a member a Charter Member of Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1161 Ladies Auxiliary, D of A and the World War I Ladies Auxiliary.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wythe J. Sarge Napier, who passed away on April 5, 1970, one daughter Lorna Ursell on December 11, 1996, several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Wythe J. Napier, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, sister Rose Manring of Lima, eight grandchildren, Alicia Shoemaker of Leesburg, OH., Dianna Williamson of Grand Portage, MN., Jennie Gephart of Bainbridge, OH., Debbie Jim Corcoran of Grand Portage, MN., Jeff Mindy Ursell of Highland, OH., John Napier of Dallas, Texas, Roger Glenda Napier of Llano, Texas and Daleann Tommy Parker of Cleburne, Texas, 17 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home. John Porter will officiate with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
