Grace Flora Nichols,89 years of Peebles, Mineral Spring Community died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.
She was born at Cedar Mills in Adams County on October 10, 1913 the daughter of the late Alfred and Fannie Bayes McGowan.
She was a member of the Peach Mountain Community Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John ?Jay? Nichols on March 6, 1998 and one brother.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kathy Nichols of Peebles, one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Tom Mihalovich of Peebles, four grandchildren,Jim and Wayne Nichols, Teresa King and Melissa Self, five great grandchildren, Jeana, Bryan, Chris, John and Andy, one sister, Ethel Staggs of West Union.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Vernon Shiveley officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 noon till service time at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
