Gretchen E. Bovie, 67 years of Seaman, died Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 18, 1937 the daughter of the late Verlyn and Betty Vance Henderson.
She was a member of the Countryside Church of Christ. She was a volunteer for Hospice of Hope.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bovie, who passed away in 1990, and one sister, Suzy Bagdasarian.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and John Hughes of Seaman, Sandra and Todd Wallace of Batavia, sister, Jeanne Reed of Warrenton, Missouri, five grandchildren, Lindsay Behroozian, Kristen Hughes, Nick Neibauer, Kevin Neibauer, Megan Wallace, aunt, Eugenna Henderson of Dublin, and close friends, Bill LaFrana of Versailes, Kentucky, and Clarice Francis of Chillicothe.
Private funeral services will be held with Rev. Dan Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman.
