Harley Young, Jr. 64 years of Peebles, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in West Union on October 15, 1941 the son of the late Harley and Mary Davis Young, Sr.
He was a member of the United Auto Workers.
He is survived by his wife Lillian Shoemaker Young whom he married on September 29, 1962, one son Bill Scott of Peebles, four brothers, Robert Young, Rollin Young, David Young and John Young, five sisters, Myrtle Houchen, Mae Stone, Wilma Pennywitt, Elma Honaker and Wanda Akers, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Allen Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
