Harold L. Puckett

Harold L. Puckett, 77 years of Peebles, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio.

He was born in Highland County, Ohio on March 3, 1930 the son of the late Newton and Lizzie Wagner Puckett.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son James Puckett, and one brother Chester Puckett, two sisters Ruby Rock and Idella Gruver.

Harold was a member of the Peebles Masonic Lodge #581, Valley of Cincinnati Scottish Rite, and the Pike County Shriners Club. He was also a member of the Zane Trace Antique Car Club, and Southern Ohio Model T Club.

He is survived by his wife Gloria A. McLaughlin Puckett whom he married in 1946. One son & daughter-in-law, Jeff & Judy Puckett of Rarden, Ohio. Two daughters & son-in-laws, Sandy & Larry Stiles of Waynesville, Ohio, and Angie & Dennis Thompson of Piketon, Ohio. One brother Vernon Puckett of Buford, Ohio. Two sisters Martha Walker of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Hazel Siens of Peebles, Ohio. Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles, Ohio with Mick Whitt officiating.

Burial will follow in Buford Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Masonic services at 7:30PM by the Peebles Masonic Lodge #581.
