Harold D. Smalley, 85 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday August 11, 2018.
He was born in New Vienna on February 9, 1933, the son of the late Floyd and Dorotha (Wilt) Smalley. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his brother, Glenn Smalley.
Harold was a member of the Church of Christ in Marshall and was a retired Truck Driver.
Harold is survived by his wife, Diane (Starkey) Smalley, whom were married on November 20, 1992, sons, Ronald (Norma) Smalley of New Vienna, Bryan Krannitz of Hillsboro, John Krannitz of Hillsboro and Kevin (Brook) Krannitz of Lynchburg, daughters, Jennifer (Gary) Slagle of Wilmington, Melinda (Darrell) Baird of Wilmington, Suzanne (Dan) Novak of Florida and Suzanne (Matt) Runk of Sabina, 13 grandchildren: Briana Baird, Lillian Krannitz, Jason Slagle, Jacob Krannitz, Phoebe Krannitz, Jake Krannitz, Josie Runk, Lukas Runk, Cole Krannitz, Seth Krannitz, Reed Krannitz, Sara Krannitz and Liam Krannitz, sisters, Sarah Goodwin of Perry, Sue Partack of Amelia, sister-in-law, Janet Smalley and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tues August 14, 2018 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
