Harrison D. Keplinger Sr., 80 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at the Hospice of Dayton.
He was born in Petersburg, West Virginia on March 29, 1923 the son of the late Arnold and Orrie VanMeter Keplinger.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Homer Keplinger, and two step daughters, Laura Stevenson, and Cherie Michael.
Harrison was a decorated W.W. II veteran serving in the U.S Army. He was a truck driver for Commerical Motor Freight of Indianapolis, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen Evans Keplinger, one son Harrison D. Keplinger, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, two daughters, Sharon Robinson of Washington and Karen Bernard of California, two step sons, Mike Melsop of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Steve Melsop of West Jefferson, Ohio, several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 4:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 till 4:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
