Harry C. Barrett, 75 years of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at the Hearth & Care of Greenfield.
He was born in Leesburg, Ohio on January 10, 1939, the son of the late Robert C. and Nellie Lieurance Barrett. Besides his parents he was also preceded by three sisters Helen Barrett, Ethel Morrow, Carol Ann Barrett; two brothers John Barrett and Ben Barrett.
Harry retired from ARMCO in Washington C.H., was a 50 year member of the F.O.E. Aerie #1325 of Greenfield and loved to coon hunt.
He survived by his wife Sally McCall Barrett of Greenfield, whom he married on October 11, 1958; son James Glenna Barrett of Greenfield, brother Robert D. Barrett of Leesburg, two grandchildren Dusty Alisa Barrett of Greenfield and Melissa Barrett of Greenfield, three great grandchildren Katelyn, Camden and Anna Barrett, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday January 31, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday January 30, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
