Harry R. McCann, Sr., 68 years of Blanchester, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born in Queens, Kentucky on July 24, 1935 the son of the late Ortie and Mernia McCane McCann.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Harry and Jennifer McCann, Jr. of Peebles, James McCann of Wilmington, Ken McCann of Westchester, daughters and son-in-law, Shirley and Al Masters of Atlanta, Lynda Taylor of Goshen, brothers, Leroy McCann of Peebles, Donald McCann of Cherry Fork, Delbert McCann of Martinsville, sisters, Lucille Sheeley of Belfast, Mabel Ames of Springfield, Missouri, Dot McCann of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2004 at 4:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Daniel McCann officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 till 4:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
