Hattie Rowe, 82 years of Peebles, died Saturday, October 13, 2001 at her residence.
She was born at Jamboree, KY. On February 19, 1919 the daughter of Frank and Ida
Blankenship Charles.
She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Milton Rowe in 1970,
one daughter, Nunrie Conaway, one great grandson Julian Conaway, three brothers, Carl, Lloyd and Holly Charles, two sisters, Hazel Setty and Laura Palmer.
She is survived by two sons and daughters/law, Lloyd and Myrtle Rowe of Hillsboro, Frank and Brenda Rowe of West Union, five daughters and sons/law, Judy and Charles Scott of Yellow Springs, Kathryn Tong of Peebles, Evelyn Johnson of Peebles, Rose Butt of Manchester, Tammy and Randy Franklin of Peebles, one brother and sister/law, George and Mary Lou Charles of Xenia, one sister and brother/law, Hannah and Paul Cohn of Lebanon, fifteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 P.M. at the church.
Memorial may be made to the Adams County Christian School, 187 Willow Drive, West
Union, Ohio 45693.
