Hazel Darlene Perkins, 72 years of Newark, passed away on Tuesday September 26, 2023.
She was born in Pike County, Ohio on September 20, 1951, the daughter of the late Orville and Hazel (Jordan) Perkins. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her son, Clyde Edward Perkins, daughter, Dorothy Jean Perkins, six brothers, Paul Perkins, Wayne Perkins, Orville Perkins, Jr., William Perkins, Tommy Lee Perkins and John Lewis, half-brother, Oscar Barnett and six sisters, Dollie Potts, Josephine Blevins, Linda Williamson, Violet Mae Freeze, Shirley Ray East and Dorothy Jean Perkins.
Hazel is survived by her brother, James Perkins of Newark and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Friday September 29, 2023 at the Westwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at 1:00 PM until time of graveside services on Friday at the Westwood Cemetery.
