Hazel I. Shoemaker, 91 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on October 11, 1910 the daughter of the late William A. and Louella Frump Roberds.
She was a member of the Pisgah Church and Highland County Farm Bureau.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Shoemaker, who passed away on May 30, 1996, one grandson, Tony Shoemaker, ten sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Naomi Williams of Hillsboro, one son, Roger Shoemaker of Hillsboro, four grandchildren, Jerry Williams of Hillsboro, Rick Williams of Hillsboro, Connie Jo Seidl of Hillsboro, Donnie Shoemaker of Hillsboro, nine great grandchildren, and one sister, Mary Gall of Hillsboro.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at 7:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Clarence Zile, Jr. officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 A.M. at the Marshall Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 4:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
