Heber R. Greene, 95 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.
He was born in Carlisle, Kentucky on July 4, 1909 the son of the late Edward M. and Shelly Morris Greene.
He was a member of the Boston United Methodist Church, a carpenter and a life long farmer.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby A. Greene, who passed away February 1, 2004, two sons, Donald Reese and William K. Bill Greene, one great grandson, Jarred J. Greene, two brothers, Thurman and Fernald Greene.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, H. Richard Mick and Vickie Greene of Hillsboro, Charles Franklin and Wanda Greene of Sherman, Texas, four daughters and sons-in-law, Marty W. and Howard Kitchen of Marietta, Ohio, Patricia A. and Rev. Dr. Wayne O. Clark of Washington Court House, Carol D. and Duane Rogers of Hillsboro, Shirley and Ralph Vance of Hillsboro, two daughters-in-law, Mrs. William Donna Greene of Lynchburg, Mrs. Donald Patsy Greene of Greenfield, one brother, Ewell Greene of Fairborn, two sisters, Laura B. Kimberly of Toledo, Tempa M. Grebe of Toledo, twenty-three grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 20. 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev.Janie
Shoemaker officiating. Burial
will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 till 5:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
