Heber L. Williamson, 80 years of Sinking Spring, Ohio, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Highland District Hospital.

He was born at Hillsboro, Ohio on March 28, 1930 the son of the late Samuel and Louella Arledge Williamson. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Harry and Russell Williamson and one sister Dorothy Chaney.

He was a member of the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church, a US Marine having served in the Korean Conflict and retired from General Motors after 33 years of service.

He is survived by his wife who he married on May 9, 1964 Helen Hopkins Williamson, two sons Terry Williamson of Hillsboro, Ohio, Mike Hopkins of Sinking Spring, Ohio, three daughters and sons in law Kim and Kevin Robinson of Sinking Spring, Ohio, Vicky Williamson of Leesburg, Ohio, Connie and Brian Coogan of Leesburg, Ohio, one brother and sister-in-law Dale & Patti Williamson of Belfast, Ohio, two sisters & brothers-in-law Mabel & Al Lake of Hillsboro, Ohio, Susan & Mike Cook of Martinsville, Ohio, sister-in-law Beulah Deaton of Hillsboro, sevengrandchildren, Derek Bennington, Justin Faulconer, Mirah Robinson, Brandi Hawkins, Candace Kinnett, Brianna McDulin, Elisha Morris and three great grandchildren John Hawkins, Thai Morris, Kyler Morris and several nieces, nephews and host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Rev. Wiley Perkins and Scott Faulconer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Highland County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Brush Creek Township Life Squad.
