Hector Deaton, Jr., 85 years of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Hector was born August 20, 1937 in Middletown, OH., the son of the late Hector and Lillie (Spicer) Deaton. Beside His parents, Hector was preceded in death by his wife Valerie K. (Stephan) Deaton on June 1, 2012.
Hector is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Ruben) Fyffe of Hillsboro and Melissa Collett of Hillsboro; step son, Jeffrey Bradenburg; eight grandchildren, Cheyenne Collett, Ashley Collett, Hannah Collett, Madison Collett, Noah Cumberland, Lilliana Cumberland, Haley Fyffe, Jordan Fyffe; one great grandson, Kingston Williams.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Pastor Alicia Shaffer will officiate with burial following in the Stringtown Cemetery.
Visitation from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
