Helen took great pride in being a mother and grandmother. She truly enjoyed all her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially in her older years. She enjoyed working with her flowers and garden every summer. Her family will always have great memories of their many vacations together in Florida. She was not your usual Grandmother, she was a mover and a shaker. She was a very sharp dresser and always looked her best.

Helen was a past Pocahontas for the Redman's lodge and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W.

The viewing will be held January 9, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Graveside services will be held at Grovelawn Cemetery, North Pendleton Avenue, Pendleton, IN 46064 on January 10th at 1:00.

Those we hold closest never leave us, they live on in the kindness they've shared and the love they brought into our lives. We will miss you Grandma.
